Guidelines for room cancellations according to the Austrian hotel contract conditions
The accommodation contract can be canceled by both contracting parties (guest and accommodation provider) by unilateral declaration up to three months before the agreed arrival date of the guest without paying a cancellation fee.
The accommodation contract can be canceled by both contracting parties by means of a unilateral declaration up to one month before the agreed arrival date of the guest at the latest, but a cancellation fee equal to the room price for three days must be paid. The accommodation provider must also pay this if the cancellation originates from him.
A later cancellation is associated with the payment of the agreed fee, i.e. the full rent. The accommodation provider must deduct what he has saved as a result of non-use of his range of services or received by renting these rooms elsewhere!
